Title: Security Blanket

The blanket is hand crocheted, and was constructed during a month long public art performance/installation. Each day produced 3 squares, as a metaphor for "3 square meals". The work day was 8 hours long, and 15 squares were produced and assembled during each of the 4 working weeks.

Dimensions: 6 squares x 10 squares, 22 feet x 35 feet

The plastic fiber comes on a spool that holds 10 miles of film, and weighs 45 pounds. One spool was used for this project.
