A new life with the rug

It is different now, sitting alone, crocheting. No lobby, no faces of misery as people come in to work. Just silence, and the swish of the material as I work on the border. :-)

Of course you are missed. The place where you applied your art is conspicuously empty. The community that had formed around it has dissipated ((at least to my view) as we go back to our work lives without our office assistant.

I keep looking at the space when I walk by - maybe you'll be there. You're not. I saw the new tenant-to-be for the space - I wonder if she'll hang out much. Or will we walk in on Monday morning and see something new there... It's odd though - you were only here a short time but became part of the daily routine.

HI Al,
I guess we will have to have our coffee in virtual mode - unti the 1st of December! It is also a bit like the rock dropping into the pond in my art life - the rhythm and structure is very different now, one week on....
ciao,

HI Anonymous,
I might sneak in Monday too! I have been downtown once since last Friday, and kind of looked wistfully at the Portlandia building too - it is all a bit hard to believe that it all finished up a week ago.
Thanks for your sentiments though,
ciao

I dont miss you, I am glad you're gone. I sense there is something fake behind your humble look.
